Who you rent from
Yorkville Manor is the landlord at 30 Charles Street East in downtown Toronto, one block from Yonge and Bloor. Rooms and suites are let furnished, on one all-inclusive monthly rate, on terms from four months.
Many residents study or work nearby, and a good number arrive in Toronto for the first time the week they move in. If that is you, say so when you apply: we can take the first payment by international transfer and set up the rest once your Canadian bank account is open.

The four things residents ask about most.
The rate is the rate
One monthly figure covering the room, the utilities, the Wi-Fi and the cleaning of shared areas. We do not add a utilities charge in January, and we do not quote a rate that assumes a longer term than the one you signed.
You see the actual room
Before you commit you get photographs or a video of the specific room, not a representative one. If what arrives does not match what you were shown, that is our problem to fix.
Repairs get a date
Anything affecting heat, water, power or your ability to lock the door is attended to the same day. Everything else gets a date when you report it rather than an acknowledgement.
Deposits follow Ontario law
First and last month's rent, and nothing else. Ontario does not permit a separate damage deposit and we do not ask for one, whatever you may have been charged elsewhere.
